In the past decade , high vocational education has made historical progress and a large breakthrough due to social great demand and unique functions of high vocational education , occupying the half sky of high vocational education in our country on a large scale.High vocational education in our country mainly includes the independent vocational technical colleges , more than half of which were newly set up in the past six years and most of which were upgraded from secondary specialized schools. Because of subjective and objective factors , high vocational education were upgraded from secondary specialized schools , which brought about a series of problems: unclearness of high vocational education , out-of-date and backward idea of vocational education , the diverge of cultivating aim and mode , low quality of teachers'group, the conditions for running schools not adjustable to the development , lack of widen and depth in education combining production with learning and research ,that the change form secondary vocational school to high vocational school is doomed to be a long and hard process . Therefore , it is an important topic and urgent task before us how to promote high vocational education after the secondary vocational schools'upgrading , which has an important meaning in theory and reality.Based on the practice in reality , this passage focuses on the title of"The Research on Main Problems and Strategies faced by the Secondary Vocational Schools after their upgrading", analyzed the main problems faced with the high vocational education after the upgrading high technical colleges and raised the responding reform ways and developing strategies.
