With the swift and violent development of the industrial and agricultural production, the excessive exploitation of natural resources and the discharge of pollutants result in the shortage of natural resources .The environments pollutions increasingly come into be severe, which has adversely affected the lives of human beings. The environmental protection has become the common call and the joint undertaking of the universe.The stage of middle school plays an important part in a person's growth, as it is a period when his minds and thoughts grow from puerile to mature. What's more, the subject of chemistry is closely related to the environmental problem. Now, most of the important environmental problem has direct or the indirect relations with the chemical production, therefore, implements the environmental education in the chemistry teaching of middle school is very essential. This research take the present teaching material as the foundation and unit the reality of curriculum reforming. It introduces the idea of modernized environmental education ,by holding lively specific teaching make the students understand the occurrence, the danger and the prevention measures of the environments pollutions. So as to develop students' environment awareness and gradually establish a sustainable idea to achive the purpose of promoting the students' scientific accoplishment.This paper combine theory with practice and according to existing conditions, focusing practical teaching on the implementation of environmental education. The paper can be divided into three parts:The first part proposed the questions and point out the meaning of developing this topic. It elaborat the meaning, the theoritorical basis and the development condition of environmental education. The essay discussed the goal, the principle, the way and the method of implementing the environmental education in the middle school's chemistry teaching. It finaly established the main ways of environmental education in our school. There are several ways about it, which are combing the chemistry class teaching with environmental education, carrying out the environmental education in chemistry exercises, and paying more attention to the environmental prtection education during the experiment class. And then production of industry and agriculture and the daily life closely, develop the environmental education, raises the students' environmental awareness in practice.The second part is the process of practicing. It understand the present situation of the stndents'environmental awareness through the research, so as to confirm the necessity and the importance of developing environmental education. We use many kinds of teaching methods to develop environmental education. It gets the conclusion through analysising the result of investigation.The third part is about the introspection that puts forward the actual problems and the suggestion in the proceeding of carrying out the environmental education in the chemistry teaching of middle school at the basis of practicing.
