The Introduction Of Social Casework In Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

With the rapid development of economy and society, the college students feel the growing pressure from study, employment, economy and psychology, which cause more and more complex problems concerning college students' behavior and psychology. All of these have posed a new challenge to the ideological and political education of college students, so we must meet this challenge with new notion and measures. Introducing the case study of social work into the ideological and political education of college students is one of the important actions, which can carry out work successfully among college students with the non-uniformity growing day by day and help them solve various kinds of problems which they face and promote college students' all-round development. This is the gist of this thesis.Under the guidance of the Central Committee of CPC's documents enforcing and improving ideological and political education of college students, this thesis adopts the principle of ideological and political education and theory of social work, which is a preliminary study on the subject: introducing the case study of social work into the ideological and political education of college students. The thesis is divided into three parts. First, outline theoretical knowledge about social casework, which provides the knowledge foundation for this thesis. Second, analyze the necessity and feasibility of introducing social casework into ideological and political education of college students. It is required by the innovation and development of ideological and political education of college students, and by solving new situation and question of college students, and it is necessary for improving the professional level of educators. The compatibility between social work and ideological and political education and the increasingly developing troop of college students' instructors are the basic premise. Third, the plan for introducing social casework into ideological and political education of college students mainly begins with the following two aspects : first, use the idea of social casework to enrich and develop the ideological and political education of college students, which underscores that ideological and political education of college students should be people-oriented and "help the college students to help themselves". It is important to insist on the truth-seeking spirit and educators should hold the sincere attitude. Second, draw upon the treatment pattern and skill of social casework and point at college students' ideological and political education, which is studied concretely in this part.
