A Comparative Study On College Students' Rating Of Teaching Index Systems Between China And America

College Students' Evaluation of Teaching is an important part of teaching evaluation, rising of some colleges and universities in China in the early 1980s, 20th century, and now it is generally accepted and widely applied by the majority of colleges and universities, but there are also a series of problems. The Students' Evaluation of Teaching index systems are similar obviously, lacking of theoretical basis, this Phenomenon is an important issue. In Students' Evaluation of Teaching, the index system settings is the core, is the most important step. As a result, build a scientific and rational index system of assessment, as issues requiring urgent solution. In this context, this article indicates the China's College Students' Evaluation of Teaching system as the research and analysis.In this paper, selected the U.S. -the world's most developed of higher education as a reference object, using of literature method, comparative study method and other methods, carding the history of the U.S. College Students' Evaluation of Teaching and focus on their Students' Evaluation of Teaching index system. In full knowledge of China and the United States' University Students' Evaluation of Teaching ,on the basis , we make a comparative analysis of Sino-US College Students' Evaluation of Teaching index system, then get their similarities and differences, and learn the good practices and experience from American Universities.This study is a significant breakthrough to the existing index system of China's College Students' Evaluation of Teaching which is too "standardized" the status quo, the U.S. "buffet system" is a strong impact to it and when develop Students' Evaluation of Teaching Index System, called for "People - oriented "," Evaluation of development"," Creative Education "and" cooperative education "and other new educational concept. Can not only enrich our education teaching evaluation theory, but also provide theoretical guidance for the practice, then to meet the needs of the new situation.
