The Validity Analysis On Target System Of Academic Appraisal Of Domestic University

With the coming of the knowledge economics, the activities of knowledge creation have been growing. How to value the work of knowledge creation appropriately brings a big challenge on Human Resource Management. As university is the important field for knowledge creation, right evaluation on the work of university teachers will improve greatly the activities of knowledge creation in universities. Combining with the lower degree of satisfaction of university teachers with the target system of scientific research evaluation of both colleges and universities and a variety of phenomena there existing in aspect at present in the field of evaluation on knowledge research, two studying problems has been proposed in the first part of the dissertation: Firstly, quality and quantity, which is more important on earth to the target system of scientific research evaluation; secondly, Whether the present target system of scientific research evaluation can estimate the achievement of academic research of knowledge teachers in both colleges and universities. Being to draw support from the Validity of Performance Appraisal Target System which is one of the tools in Human Resource Management, the dissertation took one Chinese university as a studying example for the study on the validity of target system of scientific research evaluation of university. Through investigation in the way of questionnaires, while combining with quantify and qualify research methods, the dissertation has done a rational and all-round thinking on the problem of the validity of evaluation on target system of scientific research of both colleges and universities and has proposed some suggestion for improvement.
