| In this paper, domestic and foreign cognition of maths, mathematical education and its aim were analyzed first, and after that, the differences of mathematical education methods in schools between America and China were summarized, compared and analyzed detailedly. The Chinese mathematical education puts the basic concept and basic theory to the first place, which request the skills of questions solving and to be normative, material and precise; while American mathematical education puts the training of actual problems solving to the first place, which request the mathematical thought and mathematical accomplishment, so that there are large gap between American students and Chinese students, Chinese students would be much more normative and precise than American students, while the latter would have much more created power than Chinese students.What would result the differences of mathematical education methods in schools between America and China? The answer of course is that the different education idea. As we all know that Chinese culture canonizes the golden mean and the American culture canonizes multi-thoughts, Chinese culture would like to pay attention to the profound understanding and precise logic ratiocination while American culture would like to pay attention to the actual application and innovation.American mathematical education methods and education idea are worth learning by Chinese students and teachers, so the experience of American mathematical education mode were also analyzed and several advices were given out in order to improve Chinese mathematical education methods and the aim of training outstanding students. Factually, there are different characteristic of mathematical education between America and China, and both of them would get ahead if they learn with each other's strong suit of mathematical education methods. |
