Study On The Differences Of Ideological And Political Education Methods Between Chinese And American College Students

With the deepening process of global integration, college students’ thought is beinginfluenced by many aspects, it is good or bad from inland or abroad. If we want to turn thecollege students into positive aspects, we must use the ideological and political education. Theeducation methods are the key points of making good effect or not, and our country hasexcellent and distinctive traditional ideological and political education methods. Americanmethods also has its unique feature, some of those methods are very advanced. Study on thedifferences of ideological and political education methods between Chinese and Americancollege students should take its essence, concluding the enlightenment of American methodsand improving the methods of our country.The paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction, this part firstlydiscusses the research purpose, significance, and summarizes the present situation of domesticand foreign research, then poses the methods and innovations of this article. The third part summarizes the main methods of the ideological and politicaleducation of Chinese and American college students. The fourth part is the variation analysisof ideological and political education methods between Chinese and American collegestudents. First, it analyzes the commonness of the methods between China and America andthen focus on the analysis of the differences between the two countries. Finally, the paperanalyzes the reasons of the differences. The fifth part is the enlightenment of ideological andpolitical education methods of American college students.
