Reading aloud is a traditional language teaching method which does not fade forever, and it is the success experience of the language teaching in our country ancient times which is worth profiting from. It has the significance instruction regarding the modern middle school language teaching. According to 1000 year's teaching practice, reading aloud conforms to the language teaching rules. However, from the sample investigation about the teaching situation from the high school language in Qidong, In the language teaching , the phenomenon of valuing explanation and neglecting reading aloud is common. The present situation of middle school language teaching is anxious. In theory ,the traditional teaching method of reading aloud has a lot of controversies. Besides, the dissertation of ancient to the theory of reading aloud focus on its status and the function, but it doesn't tell us how to read the article and how to stimulate the student's interests of reading aloud. Based on the reasons above, this article takes reading aloud in the high school language teaching as the research object ,and we practise two aspects from the theory to conduct so that we can find a new practical way to enhance the high school language teaching efficiency and quality.This article is divided into five parts. Firstly, it refers to the concept and the history of reading aloud. Based on this, the significance of reading aloud is summarized. In the second part, based on the investigation of the present teaching situation of reading aloud in Qidong City Jiangsu Province, this article has carried on the analysis of the problems and reasons which exist in high school language teaching. In the third part, it aims at constructing the system of high school language teaching according to the teaching goal, content, method, and appraisal mechanism. In the fourth part, it takes the concrete teaching link and the implementation plan as the main research object, and obtains the solution of the practical problem from the teacher and the student two aspects. In the fifth part, in view of the different literary style, the training of reading aloud tries to make every effort to unify the concrete high school language teaching to enable the research to have certain pertinence and maneuverability.Through the literature, the experiment, the investigation, and the method of comparing, the paper summarizes the understanding of teaching reading aloud from the ancients , and unifies the request of the new curriculum standard, the modern pedagogy, and the correlation theory of psychology. The paper also aims at the concrete teaching practice to reinspect the traditional method of reading aloud in the language teaching. The students should be taken as the main body and books should be returned to them. Strengthen reading aloud to build up the students' taste to the language and the ability of comprehension.
