Along with the thorough development of globalization and modernization, the educators of many nations have already been aware that cultivated people should possess both the knowledge, abilities and sound personalities, which could make them experience the test from the difficulties and then take future heavy responsibilities. Therefore, the personality development has become a focused problem nowadays in the world by the common people and the teachers from the first front. Language, as an important foundation course, contains abundant humanities resources, therefore, I choose composition as a bridge of personality education, aiming at looking for an effective teaching method of composition and personalities.This text introduces "personality" firstly, including its inside characteristics and formation, then points out the basis and the important meaning of the personality education according to the analysis on the relation between "composition"and"personality" through literature review and data. Finally a questionnaire, concerning about present condition of the high school students'personalities and the corrupt practice of the imperfection personality in the composition teaching, refers mainly 6 ways which should be put forward in the composition teaching to carry on a personality education: firstly, walking into life-backlog feelings; secondly, extensive reading-awakening the life experience; thirdly, composition classroom-expanding the creative emotion; fourthly, practice - experiencing life as poetry; fifthly, sketching life and telling the truth-expressing genuine feeling to be a true person; sixthly, correcting independently ----displaying the characteristics. These ways, commencing from the whole teaching process of writing, namely before, during and after the writing to consider the personality education.The selection of this thesis, is my backlog of humanism teaching experience. Especially, during my three-year study, I have got the teachers'instruction, the students'thanks in their compositions and the affirmation of the students'parents. All the above factors make me believe the accuracy of my choice of this thesis. The personality education during the composition teaching can raise a student's language expressing ability and promote them to be a true person, thus, to complete the basic mission of modern composition teaching.In addition, the author, having taught the Chinese for 15 years in high school, makes a summary of her experience in the teaching process, aiming at proving the necessity of the personality education and finally pointing out the accuracy and possibility of its teaching methods.
