This study is on the emotion experience in the process of music appreciation of preschool children. Emotion experience is the important and indispensable factor in the process of music appreciation. It is the key factor whether the purpose and value of music appreciation education can be realized as well.This study selected a group of five or six-year-old children in a kindergarten as the research object, collected a total of 48 cases and some works of children in music appreciation activities. In the course of the study, the researcher used mainly the method of non-participatory observation and case analysis, supplemented by the analysis of references and interviews. Through the analysis to the firsthand information, the researcher drew the conclusion to believe that, under the collective teaching situation of music appreciation activity process, the five or six years old children had the emotion experience. The way of children displaying the emotion experience in music appreciation is diverse, individual and natural. Besides the straightforward language indication, they also use the story and the play, the poetry and the drawing, the bodily movement or borrowing the former music experience to express their emotion experience, some even display their experience in a relatively rational way. In addition, their emotion experience had the characteristic of distinctive quality, the order, the production, variability, multi-level and so on. At the same time, the research also summed up the maim factors of how the children's emotion experience being formed and expressed from the interior aspect, which included the learned experience of children and how they were absorbed in the activities, and the exterior aspect involving the influence of the teachers' behavior and the other children's behavior during the music appreciation activities. Finally, the study made some reflection and discussion on a number of specific issues and problems existing in it.The purpose of the study is to find out the way of music appreciation, the characteristics and influential factors of it through the analysis of music appreciation activities under the understanding of the true and nature teaching context. This study has an academic meaning that it may fulfill the research reference on preschool children's emotional experience, which is badly needed nowadays. It is also a try on promote the teaching system of music appreciation for preschool children. In addition, the study has a practical meaning on how the teachers pay their attention to the emotional experience of children in the process of music appreciation as well. It also provided some feasibility proposal on how we can carry on music appreciation teaching more effectively.
