Whether our high school students can grow up healthily or not will have an important bearing on the hopes of each family and the quality and future of our nation. For teenagers, the phase of junior high school is such a crucial stage during their development. In this period, their moral characters, their personalities, the basis of learning and even their life habits will directly influence their own lives. However, how to educate and manage problem students has always been bothering their parents, their schools and teachers. Meanwhile, our problem students have gradually come into the eyes of some educationists and researchers. No matter the proportion of problem students in our real life, or the result of the educationists and researchers, they both tell us: In the modern world, we can find problem students in every country. If we want to extricate ourselves from this difficult position, we have to deeply find out the cause of formation and the strategies of dealing with the problem. Only in this way, can we free ourselves from the trouble and make our students grow up healthily.The former researches about problem students are mostly from the viewpoints of school managers and teachers. They probed into the reasons, the characteristics and the ways of solving this problem. In this thesis, I want to investigate this problem from problem students themselves. I use the qualitative research methods to know the feeling, the attitude and the viewpoints of my research target so that I can know him deeply, vividly and wholly. By doing so, we know more about the practical meaning of students'experience, living environment and feelings.Using various research methods, this thesis gives a close observation and finds out the following three distinguishing feathers: First of all, problem students come forward in a procedure from quantitative change to qualitative change. In this course, students, parents, teachers and even our society are all outside reasons which make it possible for some of the students to become problem ones. At the same time, we can also see really valuable education opportunities. Secondly, problem students have different images in different conditions. Their self-evaluations sometimes are quite different from their teachers'. This difference makes us get half the result with twice the effort in our school education. We should see that some problem students will not be problem students any longer after growing up. They also have some good advantages which are covered with problems.In this thesis, we put forward some education and management strategies upon problem students: First, it's our duty to try to teach problem students well at school. Next, it's very emergency to let all our teachers know how to teach these students well. Their occupation morals, knowledge level, teaching styles and their management artists will decide whether they will be problem students makers or not. Finally, head teachers will play a very important role in their work. The sense of responsibility, the management methods and their love will greatly influence their students. This research will help our parents and teachers know more about problem students and give them self-examination about their prejudice and mistakes in teaching .
