More and more studies show that teachers are the special work pressure-intensive groups (Gold, Both, 1993; Dunbam, 1992; Kyrianor, 1987). Too much pressure on teachers has a negative impact on physical, psychology and behavior, it leads to job burnout.On the basis of an analysis of domestic and international related literature,this study tires the related concepts and theories of burnout. Based on the methods such as questionnaires and interviews, among 516 kindergareners from 20 different types of kindergartens, we discuss the relationship between kindergarener's personality characteristics and the level of burnout in order to provide the basis for effectively preventing job burnout of teachers and improve the level of kindergarener's mental health.Use of statistical software SPSS13.0, we research the data through the item analysis, exploratory factor analysis, analysis of testing the reliability and validity and regression analysis, and the relationship between the level of teachers burnout and personality characteristics are discussed. The results showed that:(1) On the whole, the level of kindergartener's burnout is very high. In the investigation of 516 people, 498 people are detected burnout symptoms; the detection rate is 88.9%. 403 people are detected mild symptoms of burnout, the detection rate is 78.1%, 89 people are detected moderate symptoms of burnout, the detection rate is 17.2%, six people are detected serious symptoms of burnout the detection rate is 1.2%.(2) On the level of burnout, diversity among kindergarteners at the different qualifications and age, is very significantly.(3) Demographic variables may influence teacher's job burnout as buffer variables. (4) The difference of personality characteristics has marked impact effects on job burnout.(5) On the whole, the relation between the burnout and personality traits of kindergareners is not obvious. But the burnout and the three qualities of Big Five Personality Dimensions have related at the different levels.Based on the results, we should take corresponding measures to the different job burnout in order to help kindergarteners understand self-awareness clearly, use positive psychological strategy properly to control their own attitudes, feelings and reactions.
