Kindergarten teachers' value orientation to children reading the classics refers to the teachers' stable criterion and attitude during the practice of instruction. It includes the teachers' opinion on the importance of reading the classics, the contents of reading the classics, the methods of reading the classics and evaluation of reading the classics. This study is aimed at the currently fiery reading campaign, as in the assumption that there is a reasonable premise, through investigating the value conception of kindergarten teachers, the characteristics and effects of factor analysis, it points out the possible advantages and disadvantages of reading the classics, which provides first-hand information for the decision-makers who reform curriculum.The contents of this study are: first, value orientation of Kindergarten teachers about the importance of early childhood reading the classics. Second, value orientation of Kindergarten teachers about the contents; third, value orientation of Kindergarten teachers about the methods; fourth, value orientation of Kindergarten teachers about Evaluation. To observe and interview are the main methods, the main results as follow:First, Kindergarten reading classics can change vulnerable image-based education content shaped in the past education.Second, Kindergarten teachers have two principles to choose classics: attracting eyes, ears and mouths, combining fine contents with the classics. The order selecting classics is: "The Analects of Confucius", "The Book of Songs", "University", "the Mean "and "Shang shu", "Spring and Autumn Annals", "Book of Changes."Third, the main factors affect the value orientation of Kindergarten teachers are concept of education and culture, and concept of culture is a more important factor.This study made the following recommendations:First, in Kindergarten education it can be introduced under the premise of following certain principles a certain proportion of the Confucian classics text as language education; Second, by the time preschool children reading classics can appropriately increase the proportion from the horizontal, it can properly advance from the vertical, advance to the infant stage.
