Research On Music Education Of Primary And High Schools In Fuzhou Cangshan Distric After The Reform Of Elementary Education

With the new campaign to promote reform, China's elementary education curriculum has made great achievement. However, according to the new requirements of national curriculum reform scheme, enhancing survey and research of primary and secondary schools music education becomes an urgent task. There are all kinds of problems existing in rural areas, such as lack of input to education, lack of basic facility, and lack of qualified teachers. In order to take measures and solve these problems, we have to find out the causes of them as well as the differences lie in between.This thesis will discuss music education from the status of primary and secondary schools of Fuzhou Cangshan distric after implement of《music curriculum standards on full-time compulsory education (trial version)》. The thesis is divided into three parts: status, characteristic and development.Ihe contents of this thesis include new curriculum standards, location of Cangshan distric, number of schools, music faculty and facilities of schools, teaching contents and teaching methods, curricular and extracurricular activities. The thesis conducts investigation through literature, interview, analysis, observation and other popular musical education research methods. It expresses the positive opinion of new changes of music curriculum in Cangshan distric after the reform of elementary education. In the meantime, it points out the difference and gap of music education between urban areas and rural areas. Furthermore it puts forward some suggestion to minimize this difference and gap. Finally, the main purpose of this thesis is to reduce the difference and gap of music education between urban and rural primary and secondary schools. The author would like to make some progress in carring out《music curriculum standards on full-time compulsory education (trial version)》.
