Nowadays China is developing the reform of primary education and thekey to the reform is: to change the traditional teaching methods and stress thatstudents are the main factors of teaching. What is traditional teaching method?It is not the students but the teachers that are the centre of teaching, which isnot proper. The reform aims to develop the students' ability of beinglife-long learners and to improve the students' sustainable development. Howcan we achieve this goal? By using Notes—teaching method.Based on modern teaching technology, notes—teaching method paysmore attention to the learning methods and self-leaming of the students. Oneimportant point of this method is that notes are used as materials and teachers'function is to instruct.According to the teaching tasks, the students' inner characteristics,teachers use this method to instruct students to learn actively during the wholeclass. Compared with traditional methods, this new method makes studentsbecome the centre of teaching and at the same time trains students to look forinformation, to raise questions and to find solutions for themselves. In thisway we can stimulate the students' inner desire to study. At the same timethey are stimulated to improve their abilities of dealing with different kinds ofmaterials, generalizing them, comparing them and discussing them. As aconsequence, we can say that notes—teaching can not only help students tohave a better understanding of their passages but learn to attend to them all bythemselves so as to improve their ability of self—learning. Notes—teachinghas a strong influence on the teaching effects, that is to say, it plays a veryimportant role in teaching. The subject of this article is that under the module of notes—teachinghow to design the theoretical basis, general principle and general module of aproper teaching notes. In addition, in this article we cover some theory ofnotes—teaching and its further development based on some real teaching inpractice.
