Study On Lifestyle Of The Spring Festival In Middle Rural Areas Of China In The Period Of Transtion

Carrying out the theoretical perspective of sociological theories, basing on the global modernization theory and the theory of cultural changes, using the method of sociology questionnaire and depth interview method, this paper describes the change of the Spring Festival such as the concept, food, culture and entertainment, consumption and communication ceremony forward and backward 1978, tries to analyze their causes, probes the influence of the change of Spring Festival lifestyle on rural modernization, reveals the multivariate path of the rural modernization in middle rural areas in the period of transtion on the former base, promotes harmonious development of the society. The paper includes five parts.The first part introduces the literature review of the concepts defined lifestyle, lifestyle changes and the relationship of the modernization of the people, social modernization and lifestyle changes in the former study, on the basis of this study raise the logic thinking and assumption.The second part describes the profile of the local investigation and sample characteristics.The third part investigates the reasons of the lifestyle change through to the research about the Spring Festival such as the concept, food, culture and entertainment, consumption and communication ceremony in two historical periods of years--from 1949 to 1978 and from 1979 to 2005, points out what effect the lifestyle change in a midland this time there are the global modernization movement, policy and the driving force for economic growth, and economic growth and elite.The forth part analyses the certain logic of lifestyle and modernization at first, elaborates the efficient causes that change of lifestyle promote the modernization by the following three major objectives: (1)to take an active lifestyle factors into the motives for modernization; (2)with modern fanners as an intermediary to become the motive force for modernization; (3)modern life as the ultimate caring to become the motive force for development.The last part summarizes out the conclusions and discussions. Some related thinking are put forward to the problems that currently existed in the correlation coefficient between the lifestyle change and the modernization in the period of transtion, and some relevant countermeasures and proposals are put forward.
