The outstanding poetry in ancient times of China, with its perfect application on the artistic style and the expression techniques as well as their rich thoughts, has become elite of Chinese ancient culture which has a unique style of aesthetic Values. The appreciating of ancient poesy becomes one of the key contents in college entrance examination in recent years. This kind of examination has appeared some obvious changes since 2000.that is, its score has rise from 3 points to 8 points in 7 years; the test questions are full of subjectivity instead of multiple-choice question only; the difficulty of the examination increases. thus we can see that the examinee's made some mistakes so that they scored lower than before. All of that have exposed the problem in the Chinese ancient poesy teaching in high school.Now, being lacks of the effective theory as guidance in appreciating ancient poems of Chinese teaching and more difficulty in understanding for the traditionally teaching on ancient poem at the same time, it is not so convenient in the Chinese teaching of the high school. It is necessary to study on the ancient poems teaching of college entrance examination overall and deeply and to summarize the content of college entrance examination tests in recent years in finding the law of teaching ancient poems and developing the teaching theory of ancient poems, improving college entrance examination and review the efficiency guided effectively.From 2000 to 2006, not only of the national volume, but also of the Beijing volume and the Shanghai volume the poetry test question covers a wide range in the college entrance examination these years: the test content was rich, the test angle was changeable, moreover, we find that its key point and the main point could be reflected in the ancient poetry teaching. So we think it is important to look over these test questions to find some essences and the regular of the knowledge.We can clearly see that Tang poetry and Song poetry were 86.5 percent, Lvshi and Jueju account for 92.6 percent, Zhongdiao accounts for 87.5 percent, Xiaoling mounts to 100 percent. The sort of poetry describing the scenery and expressing feelings account for 64.9 percent. The Multiple choice part is 29 percent, fill questions is up to 22 percent, the subjective test approximately composes 49 percent.We can find that the test in examining the ability of synthesizing composed 84 percent, which is more important than testing the ability to remember knowledge only and comprehensive in a low level in my opinion. Obviously, the examinee can't score high if they depends on the mechanical memorizing of some knowledge.We analysis completely on the 33 sets of the poetry test paper wich elected, there are 31 sets of the paper examined the expression means or the expression effect directly or not, accounts for 94%, and the rhetoric technique, the poetry structure and the key sentence function also tested in the paper. So we should focus on the poetry teaching of high school .Two factors prompted those students who score low: firstly, they can not understand the poetry well. Secondly, they can not express their idea with language freely. Based on the two factors given above , we analyze the test paper in 7 years and find some methods in ancient poetry teaching in high school. At the same time, we think that it is necessary to use the knowledge about rhetoric and writing, to find some basic rules in poetry creating, to study more deeply on style, structure, language and the skill of poetry.In brief, it is of good use to study on the ancient poetry test of college entrance examination. We can inherit the China traditional culture better and improve the poetry teaching in high school to a new level.
