Aiming at the phenomena of discrepancy between enterprise requirement and talent cultivation of high vocational college, improvement of student's vocational skills in analytical chemistry teaching was explored.The vocational skill was a kind of comprehensive ability. Studying analytical chemistry contributed to improve it. Analytical chemistry had own theory system and constant, and could solve practical problem. Through analytical chemistry teaching, the students'individual character, potency, good psychohealth, and sound personality were developed. Only improving the students'general diathesis, could the vocational skill be enhanced. At the same time, analytical chemistry was empirical science, and experiment teaching was a significant part of it. Through experiment, the empirical ability and habit, rigorous attitude, the style of seeking truth from fact, and the ability of observing, analyzing, solving problems were improved. In the experiment, the students'competent of integrating theory with practice, cooperation, communication and bring new ideas were raised. Searching for new knowledge independently and grasping new technique were fundamental skills in all the students'life. The goal was to raise the ability of employment,cater to enterprise requirement and to attain sustained development of vocational education.The developing status quo and theoretic foundation of cultivating the students'vocational skill in the analytical chemistry teaching,and the relationship between the analytical chemistry and the objective of vocational education were analyzed systematically . The analytical chemistry teaching practice was explained through combination profession characteristic and cultivation aim with the guide of construction doctrine education theory.Moreover,the necessity and the feasibility of raising students'vocational skill were also investigated basing on the summary of previous teaching experience.The concrete teaching practicing schedule was designed and evaluated by comparing the 03-1 and 03-2 classes which had purposed and planed in analytical chemistry teaching to the 00-1 and 00-2 classes which had no them.The result showed that cultivating students'vocational skill was necessary and feasible in the analytical chemistry teaching.The students'vocational skill and the ability of employment were improved remarkably through studying analytical chemistry systematically.students could truly be employed, choice duty , and live and work in peace and contentment.Tried to offer some basis for vocational education...
