University students'values is an extremely important content in university ideological and political education, because to the educates, it deal with the questions"to be what kind of person"and"how to be an upright person"; and to the educators, it relates to such questions: what is the status of talents training and what kind of talents should be university train? So that the question"how to set up university students'value"not only refer to the consideration and orientation of life, but also refer to the development and future of our country.This paper probes to studies the ways that how to do contemporary for university students according to the theory connotation of values and the real value condition of contemporary university students, to analyze the value features, the cause of the formation and the misunderstanding of value education of contemporary university students.In part I, explain the definition of value and value concept, and simply analyze the characteristic of contemporary university students. Through the description of the new characteristic of contemporary university students to sum up the value problems which consist in the contemporary university students'daily life.In part II, expatiate the value characteristic and the formation ingredient of contemporary university students, uncovers the result of synthetic action in subjective and objective factor to university students'value formation. And analyze the problems that consist in the education for the contemporary university students, which are the misunderstanding of form, content, construction and effect in value education.In part III, according to the analyze the problems and the cause of formation consist in the values of contemporary university students to do foreground prospect for the contemporary university students, then offer real ways to open new theory for high school value education.
