With the further change of social economy,political environment and education system of the country,the contemporary college students' growth environment gets more complicated,the setback that they suffered on the growth road is increasingly highlighted.College students are in the important transition from the mid youth to adult stage.During this period,the college students' mental has not yet fully mature.It's easy to generate a lot of psychological contradictions and problems,which makes the problem of college students suffer setbacks highlighted.Therefore,educating college students to set up the correct cognition,helping students to form a positive attitude in handling set-backs,improving students' ability to resist setback,has become an urgent and important task.This paper discusses the meaning,the basic characteristics,the performance,the causes of setbacks and the countermeasures of strengthening frustration education of contemporary university students with the integrated use of literature research,subject crossing method,comparative analysis and other research methods.Author tries to explore the new way of strengthening frustration education of contemporary university students through the systematic and in-depth research,so as to provide decision basis for the development of the setback education in college and universities.This paper argues that in view of the contemporary college students the social group,the contemporary college students' frustration education refers to the educators integratedly use pedagogy,psychology,knowledge of the disciplines of ideological and political education to choose the appropriate methods to guide the contemporary college students correctly dealing with setbacks and enhance the contemporary college students' ability to resist setback education practice on the basis of the current social development needs and the actual situation of contemporary college students,under the guidance of marxist humanism concept such as thought.The contemporary college students' frustration education have the basic characteristics such aspractica,subjectivity,comprehensive,permeability,leading and long-term.Because the living state of the college students are relatively single and stable,college students' frustrations encountered must also shows the characteristics of certain typed.In general,the setbacks that contemporary college students suffered mainly are for learning,professional,and love,communication,network,family,health,employment and so on.The main causes of setbacks lies in society,university,family,individual and etc.Finally,This paper argues that the best way to strengthen frustration education of contemporary university students is to optimize the contemporary college students' frustration education social environment,way of colleges and universities,family ambience and individual quality.
