Research On The Function Of The Kindergarten Male Teachers' Role

As the very beginning of education, Preschool education plays an important role for individual development. It's always been the dominant topic about how to improve the education conditions, in which children can benefit a lot. With the rapid development of society, the male teacher working in the kindergartner cause more attention than ever before. There are lots of different attitudes towards the functions of their role in preschool. Base on current studies, this thesis aims to discuss the effort of male teacher in preschool so as to provide the different perspective for other researchers. This research consists of three parts:1. Social need for male teacher who can work in preschool. During the process of collecting material, many researches, parents and mass media call for providing the position in preschool for male teacher. Due to this circumstance, the author analyzed the current develop condition of male teacher, the reason why few of them would like working in preschool and the social needs for them.2. The development of male teacher and children. The author augured the influence of male teacher on children's gender conscious and the features of male teacher's mind and behaviors which impact on children growth. According to the previous studies and classic psychological theory, the author overviewed the relative investigation and questionnaires and emphasized the necessary of attending in teaching for male in preschool.3. The male teacher and their working in preschool. Based on the literature analysis and present condition of preschool, the author talked about the relation between the management and education with the attending of male teacher and tried to prove the special efforts of their role for children's developmentConclusion: based on the analysis of relative literature and the investigation, this thesis pinpointed the social needs for male teacher, especially in preschool and highlights the effort of male role on children's development. Meanwhile, the authors tend to persuade the society to give more attention to male teacher and provided the suggestion and solution for current dilemma, which would effect the children's development.
