The Status Quo And Mamangement Strategy Of P.E. Resources In Primary And Middle Schools-A Case Study In Xiaochang County Of Hubei Province In China

Physical education (P.E.) in poor areas has become a necessity and the key to the education reform in China, which has aroused much concern in relevant state department. Since science and education are highly valued presently in China, the research on the development of P.E. in poor areas is faced with great chances.This thesis has given a case study in the County of Xiaochang in Hubei Province of China, which has uncovered the problems of P.E. existing in primary and middle schools. Due to the specific geological and historical circumatance, this county is faced with comparatively underdeveolped economy and disperse layout of schools in great variety, where the educational concepts are rather stale and there are lots of problems existing in P.E. The present study is conducted in the hope that fair concern sould be paid to the development of P.E. in middle and primary schools in poor reas of China.The thesis has analyzed the status quo of P. E. resources in Xiaochang County and presented some countermeasures to the existing problems. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part has presented a study on P. E. resources in Xiaochang County and some countermeasures by means of analyzing the P.E. course offer rate and the state of teaching plan implementation,etc. The second part has presented a study on P. E. resources in the same county and some countermeasures by means of analyzing teachers' basic information , their workload and work pay,etc. The third part has presented a study on P. E. resources of this county and some countermeasures by means of analyzing educational expense and teaching equipments,etc. Then, the conclusion and some proper suggestions are given at the end of the thesis.
