Tujia people mainly live in Xiangxi,Hunan,Enshi,Hubei and Shizhu,Youyang,Xiushan,Qianjiang and other places in Chongqing.In the process of historical development,many excellent traditional ethnic sports were born,such as bamboo bell ball,hand waving dance,pearl ball,and Bandenglong.From 1995 to 2019,the Bamboo Bling Ball Project of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County in Chongqing Municipality participated in the National Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Meeting on behalf of Chongqing Municipality,and won the gold and silver prizes for many times.In 2010,the bamboo bell ball was listed in the second batch of intangible cultural heritage of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County.In 2019,the bamboo bell ball was listed as an intangible cultural heritage in Chongqing.In recent years,shizhu county party committee and county government have made great efforts to popularize and promote the traditional sports represented by bamboo-bell ball in the whole county,attach great importance to the development of bamboo-bell ball in the county,and hold bamboo-bell ball competitions regularly to lead and promote the development of ethnic characteristic sports in the whole county faster,higher,stronger.Stone county,the primary and secondary schools as the promotion of bamboo bell ball key battleground of the project,the county has 18 schools to carry out the project,including national secondary school,as a representative of the bamboo bell ball project set up bamboo bell ball classrooms,and published a school-based teaching materials,the bamboo bell ball movement is introduced into classroom teaching and extracurricular activities of sports,established the bamboo bell ball team.Based on this background,the primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County have a certain promotion basis and conditions for the development of bamboo bell ball.This study is based on the current situation of bamboo bell ball development in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County.At the same time,it discusses the problems encountered in the process of school development under the current situation,and makes a systematic study on the sustainable development of bamboo bell ball in schools.From the perspective of the school,this paper comprehensively uses the methods of literature,on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire survey,interview and mathematical statistics to explore the current situation,degree of promotion and restrictive factors of bamboo bell ball in primary and middle schools in Shizhu County.to provide theoretical support for primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County to carry out bamboo boll project and promote the coordinated development of school and bamboo bell culture.In this study,through the literature and field investigation on the origin and development,venues and equipment,sports characteristics and value,and the current situation supported by the competent departments,and then on the main inheritance ways of bamboo bell ball,the reasons for the development of bamboo bell ball in school,the current situation and the main problems were investigated,and the following conclusions were drawn through research and analysis:(1)The county party committee,county government and relevant departments of Shizhu County attach great importance to the development of bamboo bell culture and support the development of the school bamboo bell ball project in terms of policies and funds.The inheritance of bamboo bell ball in Shizhu County is mainly based on school inheritance.There are 108 primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County,and 18schools(10 middle schools and 8 primary schools)carry out the bamboo bell ball project,accounting for 17%.Among them,ethnic Middle School,Huilong Middle School and ethnic Primary School are bamboo bell inheritance bases.(2)The reasons for carrying out the bamboo bell ball project in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County are as follows: it has the value of entertainment,physical fitness and education,which is deeply loved by students and teachers;it plays an important role in carrying forward the traditional culture of ethnic minorities;promote ethnic cultural identity,enhance ethnic identity,enrich school teaching content and students' extracurricular life,train cultural inheritors and athletes,and establish a platform for students to pursue further studies.Represent the provinces and cities to participate in the traditional sports games of ethnic minorities,strive for honor for the collective,promote cultural exchanges and enhance friendship.(3)The present situation of Tujia bamboo bell ball in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County is as follows:First,the main ways to carry out the bamboo bell project in Shizhu County primary and secondary schools are: policy promotion into the campus;preparation of teaching materials into the classroom;classroom extension to extracurricular;extracurricular training plus competitions;regular sports meetings;event activities to lead.Second,Shizhu County primary and secondary school students and teachers have a high degree of understanding,love and support of bamboo bell ball,but there are differences in different cognitive levels(very,comparative,general).Third,bamboo bell ball projects in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County are carried out in the form of classroom teaching,extracurricular activities,elective courses,competitions,training,festival celebrations,etc.;the main forms of development are physical education,extracurricular activities and competitions;the frequency is carried out at least once or twice a week;the school venues and equipment are relatively adequate;funds are basically adequate,and leaders pay more attention to it.Fourth,the teachers of primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County can meet the regular teaching of bamboo bell ball project,and the age,educational background,professional title and job structure are reasonable.Teachers understand and learn bamboo bell ball through different ways,but there are few opportunities for training and learning,and there is a lack of systematicness in the process of teaching and training.Fifth,the bamboo bell ball project of primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County has successively participated in seven National Minority Games and won good gold and silver medals,but because of the particularity of the bamboo bell ball project,it mainly participates in the National National Games by performing events,and has not been included in the competitive events of the National National Games for the time being.(4)There are mainly the following dilemmas in the development of bamboo bell ball in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County: first,the cultural atmosphere is poor,the degree of love is different;second,the way of development is single,lack of universal participation;third,the venue and equipment is insufficient,the teaching model is outdated;fourth,the source of funds is single,lack of special funds;fifth,the implementation mechanism is not perfect,the driving force is not active;sixth,personnel training is not systematic,the lack of scientific research team.(5)According to the present situation and main difficulties in the development of bamboo bell ball in primary and secondary schools in Shizhu County,this paper puts forward some experience and enlightenment: first,to enhance cultural identity and cultivate cultural consciousness;second,to enrich the content of activities and broaden the participation platform;third,to implement special funds and improve relevant systems;fourth,to strengthen teacher training and establish a scientific research team;fifth,to strengthen base construction and create a new starting point for competition.Sixth,joint cooperation mechanism to build a strong atmosphere.
