Change, Cause And Mode Of Organizational Structure In University

Modern university has developed into macro university.Scale becomes more and more larger,as well as environment more and more complex,and accordingly,fuction of organizational structure becomes more and more important. A organization life-force sometimes has something direct to do with its organizational structure.Under the background,this dissertation regards organization theoy and advanced education theoy as its theoy basis and analysis framework,from the virson of history, study the changes of organizational structure in Chinese university ,analyze effect elements of organizational structure changes,sum up types or modes of university organizational structure changes,at last try to conclude some valuable revelations and advices.The whole article altogether divides into six parts.The first part,introduction.Firstly,analyze researchful background of issue;secondly, put forward the researchful issues,alarify researchful thought,definitude researchful method ; lastly , define concepts of organizational structure.The second part, researchful summarization.First briefly hackle developmental venation of organizational structure theoy,in succession,comment researchful actuality inside and outside ,in conclusion ,elicit this dissertation research.The third part,changes of organizational structure in university.With three latitude theory of Sidiren framework of organization, complexity , centralization of power,criterion ,this dissertation regard the three latitudes as a rationale and analytical framework ,and study the changes of our country university organizational structure.Firstly, university organization transverse structure: division of labour on the basis of specialization is thinner and thinner , branch quantities are more and more; Secondly, university organization vertical structure: administrative levels increase and the administrative chains prolong; Thirdly, university power: disperse transversely and move down vertically; Fourthly, university organization: from sealing off to opening to the outside world.The fourth part,the cause and effect elements of organizational structure changes in university.Studying factors that influence organizational structure can better grasp the law of development and evolution of organizationl structure.This dissertation put effect elements into three variable:exterior variable,interior variable and middle variable. Exterior variable includes politics,economy,science and technology,culture etc. factors. Interior variable includes university scale,university stratagem and university culture factors etc.Middle variable refers to university organizational structure deviser and supervisor----university president.Actually various factors mutually interweave and togetherly act on the changes of university organizational structure.The reason why I detach them is in order to expound it more clearly and more expediently.The fifth part,the mode of organizational structure changes in university.We can educe different types or modes from different angles.According to reforming promoter,government leading mode and school leading mode;According toreforming scale, whole mode and part mode;According to reforming speed, radical mode and advancing gradually mode;According to reforming direction,ascending mode and descending mode.In reality,the transforms of organizational structure in university sometimes is various combination of different modes.The sixth part,conclusion and discussion.After we sum up previous article content,we can come to a conclusion:number one,organizational structure in university becomes more complex and more fine;number two,the adjustment and changes of organizational structure in university is more transplanted,lessed used for reference;number three,politics is the dominant factor that cause the changes of organizational structure in Chinese university;number four,the change mode of organizational structure in university is too singular.at last this dissertation forecast:number one,from single-dimension to more-dimension,organizational structure in university is diversified gradually;number two,respect learning power,manging gravity centre of organization in university will move down gradually;number three,influence of politics weakens gradually,however,economy and technology's influence is more obvirous;number four,the mode of organizational structure changes in university :from top to bottom changes into from bottom to top.
