| Mathematics, a kind of model science, a way of communicating and a language,is the supplement of nature language. The research about the communication of mathematics has been started quite early and studied deeply in foreign countries. Gradually, it is paid more and more attention to at homeland, and more and more research have been done. The communication of mathematics not only affects student's motive and interests directly on the aspects of learning mathematics and solving problems, but also affects their ways of learning mathematics, which will affect the student's development of mathematics directly or indirectly. At the same time, it is the problem that all the mathematics' educators should face. With the help of information process theory, speech theory,. cognition science and structural principle, on the basis of some factors of mathematical communication, a limited extent questionnaire investigation was made in the two classes of the 16th middle school in Wuhan, Hubei province, including 108 students. Some problems were found in the investigation such as less communication with knowledge, passive ways of communicating, less experience of communication. It also showed the result of assaying, that is the main factor of forming mathematics communicating with knowledge, ways of communication, experience of communication has been started. In order to meet the need for mathematics in the future, the paper expound that middle school students should master the abilities of communicating in mathematics. It also exppound some strategy of improving the communication. The writer attempted to train the abilities of mathematical communication, providing some evidence for teaching research. Some primary but obvious progress is turned up in improving mathematical communication after one year experiment. At the end of the paper, it points out some problems need to be researched further and the way of effort from the point view of theory and pratice. |
