A Comparative Study On Management System Of Non-governmental Higher Education

With the reformation of education system and the overall implement of Min Ban Jiao Yu Cu Jin Fa in China, non-governmental higher education, as a critically indispensable part of our country's higher education, plays a more and more important role in the development of the nation's education. In the meantime, its development also attracts great interest of education theorists and the public. Non-governmental higher education brings many new problems that never have been met before. Non-governmental colleges run or operate disorderedly while the government's administration of them is also random. Undoubtedly these realistic problems need us to consider, study and pay concerns to from the theoretical and academic perspective. The management system of non-governmental higher education therefore also becomes the key point in the higher education reformation, development and research.The objects of this comparative research mainly are the private colleges and universities in the countries, such as England, France, German, America, Canada, Japan, Russia, India, Korea, Philippines, Chinese Taiwan, and Hong Kong etc. The perspective of the research aims at the reality of current demand of non-governmental higher education and the actual development trend of higher education management system in our country, to explore the countermeasures to the common problems both domestic and national that the higher education management system has on the foundation of comparative analysis.This paper mainly uses qualitative method throughout, try to apply quantitative method at the same time, to combine theoretical analysis and positivism study together, and to adopt documentary investigation and historical analytical method as well as case study. The main source of data and materials of this thesis is from Chinese academic periodicals net, the website of China Ministry of Education, Chinese non-governmental education net, non-governmental education research magazine, educational statistical yearbook, China's non-governmental education green book, education outlook, international education encyclopedia etc.The correlative study, about the non-governmental higher education management system, from the international comparative perspective is not so much.
