The Investigation And Study Of College Wushu Teaching Status In Hubei Province

Wushu is the splendid ethical traditional sports program in China,developing Wushu sports and carrying ethos forward are vital to execute civil sports plan and construct harmony society.The significance of developing Wushu sports in colleges is equal.Through the investigation and study of the status of college Wushu teaching in Hubei, we found that the status is not optimistic and there exists many problems as follows:teaching staff lacking . theory teaching materials aging. teaching mode is obsolete ,teaching equipment shorting and organized match activities are limited,thereby, the further deepen revolution of college Wushu teaching is urgent。This article take the instances of Wushu teaching and trainning in 36 colleges and through literature data method,questionnaire investigation method,logic induction,symbolic statistical method .etc. to analyse the problems existed in the college Wushu teaching and to explore the effective approaches of developing college Wushu sports ,the aim of this article is to provide some operable suggestions for the further development of college Wushu sports in Hubei province.The research results indicated that:(1)Nowadays, the proportion of Wushu teaching staff in college is small,their academic level is low and scientific research ability needs further progress,speciality distributing is unreasonable,which phenomena are not benefit for the further development of Wushu curriculum ; but age configuration is comparatively reasonable,it revealed"pyramid"model from low to high age phases.(2)In spite of the college Wushu curriculum is various,but the problem of teaching content unitary,teaching materials aging,few teaching hour,"attach importance to technique rather than theory",obsolete teaching method,assess form is unreasonable,which status are not benefit for the further development of college Wushu sports and the effective expansion of Wushu education activities.(3)The shorting of hardware facility such as Wushu teaching field and equipment,lacking of leaders'attention to the Wushu teaching ,which problems restricted the executing of Wushu sports in colleges.(4)Students are not very satisfy with the distributing of Wushu teaching contents , and they consider teachers working attitude,teaching organize mode and teaching methods need further progress. (5)The situation of expansion college Wushu amateurish activities is not ideal,the number of participating provincial level college Wushu match is few and the mass basis of college Wushu sports is comparative weak.
