To acclimatize to the national strategy of developing the country relying on talents, enhancing the reform of education institution in particular is very important for high education to keep pace with social development and to satisfy the desires for talents in the fields of economy, science and technology. With regard to the reform, the most critical crux is to reform the way of cultivating the talents. The curriculum reform is an important part of the talent-cultivating cause. A scientific and reasonable curriculum can help students build a scientific knowledge structure in a limitable period of time. The curriculum system concerns students' capability acquisition, the breath and depth of knowledge structure, talents' quality and their career as well. Also, the content of the curriculum is crucial to cultivating the enthusiasm and creativity of the students.Exam is an important part of education. The exam reform, accordingly, makes part of the education reform. Exam is an effective means of evaluating teachers' teaching effect and quality. It is also beneficial to evaluating students' acquisition of knowledge and skills and to promoting the quality of the students. Exam can also help find out the problems that exist in the teaching process. Some problems existing in the curriculum arrangement and in the test papers as well can be easily found out with the help of a scientific analysis on students' performance in exams. The analysis can also help teachers understand whether the students have nice acquisition of the courses. The analysis on the characteristics of students' performance in exams can bring us with a clear understanding about the rationality of SUS curriculum arrangement, students' enthusiasm and their acquisition of each curricular session. It can also evaluate teachers' academic performance and teaching effect. With the analysis, teachers can find out timely the weak points in their teaching so that they can better their teaching and improve their teaching effect, thus laying a beneficial foundation for the future improvement of their teaching. The Shanghai University of Sport has made a wide-range readjustment to the Teaching Plan, the Teaching Outline and the Exam Regulation since 2002. How is the readjustment going? Are the students satisfied with the readjustment? Are there any other needs they will put forward? As for these questions, no relatively comprehensive summary and analysis have yet been done. Based on the University's education reform since 2002, this paper adopts an all-round analysis on students' performance in exams and their suggestions and criticism towards the curriculum, the curriculum content and the curriculum quality. Through sending questionnaires and analyzing students' performance in exams, we will have a better understanding of their current learning conditions and their academic demands. And we can also find out the laws of modern education so as to provide the University with beneficial information for better education reform and better education quality. Conclusions as follows:1, The exam marks in general is in incomplete Normal Distribution. High-mark group is in the overwhelming majority. This indicates that the Course Rating of the test papers made by teachers is relatively low. 2, The exam marks show outstanding differentia between sports majors and non-sports majors, Required Courses, Restricted Optional Courses and Optional Courses, Public Basic Courses, Specialized Courses and Extensive Courses, Main Courses and Non-main Courses. Students in non-sports majors have better performance than those in sports majors. And students in the courses with more flexibility in terms of selecting courses have better performance than those in the courses with less flexibility.3, The exam marks also present distinct differentia between different grades, different schools and departments, sports major students and non-sports major students. The students in Grade Three get the lowest exam marks. However, it indicates a more Normal Distribution. Non-sports major students achieve better performance than sports major students. It is closely related between the exam marks achieved in university and that achieved in the National Matriculation Entrance Test. That means those who got high marks in the NMET will accordingly achieve high marks in the exams in the university.4, In the former seventeen items, students' satisfactory index is generally more than 60%. The answers are basically the same. As for the following two questions "Can the curriculum satisfy your demand for job hunting?" and "Can teacher's class performance meet your needs?", the satisfactory index are markedly lower than other items.5, According to the students, the most popular exam formats are field exam and comprehensive exam. With regard to the curriculum, the students are in strong desire for social practice courses, practical and applied courses.6, It is mainly based on their hobbies, course's practicability and career planning that students choose the courses. Students in their university period hope urgently to improve their social adaptability, foreign languages, computer application, communication skills and humanity cultivation.
