Higher Vocational and Technical Education(HVTE)is a form of high education which trains higher skill talent . In recent years,with the fast development of China HVTE,people began to pay more attention to the HVTE training quality,among several factors relevant to the training quality, HVTE teachers are undoubted the most important factor. Only high quality teachers can cultivate high quality professional talents. However, because we are short of special teacher education institution to cultivate HVTE teachers, we have to pay more attention to the HVTE teachers'Continuing Education. Based on the practice of Guangxi High Vocational and Technical College(HVTC) teachers and mainly through the methodology of investigation, the paper attempts to conduct an in-depth demonstrative investigation into the current circumstances of Guangxi HVTC teachers'continuing education. Chiefly the HTVC teachers, the principle of personnel ministry of HVTE, and the major of HVTC teachers'training base were subjected to this inquisition. We adopted the questionnaire and talking technique to collect data, they had made personally practical comments on the training process and the result. As a result of the thorough analysis and discussion of all these first-hand data, this paper puts forward pertinent suggestions for the continuing education of Guangxi HVTC teachers..The paper was divided into 4 parts. The first part summarizes the relevant theory of HVTE teachers'continuing education, and brings forward the quality requirement of HVTC teachers, considering the development trend of requirement of HVTC talent cultivation. The second part analyzes the survey result of questionnaire, mainly about some relevant factors of HVTC teachers'continuing education, e.g. the qualification, the knowledge structure, skill level, the content and form of the continuing education they received, the attitude to continuing education, the appraise of training process and result, the training exterior factors, such as the policy, the expense, the training institution, we analyzed the data with descriptive statistics and discuss the current status of HVTC teachers'continuing education.
