With the expansion of the enrolment scale, the staffs in the private college increase yearly. However, as late starting, it is impossible for the private college to build a stronger full-time faculty as Government University did, so the part-time faculty becomes the main part of the faculty. For the lack of experiences in running school, the private college's management ways on part-time faculty don't keep pace with its development, and there are still many problems to desiderate to be solved.Therefore, the purpose of the thesis is to make a tentative study of a new approach to the private college's faculty management, which will enhance the faculty construction of private college and ensure a sound development of private college, all that based on a survey of the management status quo of the part-time faculty in Zhongqiao Vocational And Technical College (Hereinafter referred as "Zhongqiao") . This thesis takes Zhongqiao as an example and concentrates on the management issues of part-time faculty. First, discussed the development status of the private college, analyzed the management problem of faculty and clarified the meaning of study the subject of part-time faculty management. Secondly, summarized the management system of part-time faculty in Zhongqiao, pointed out the experiences and disadvantages through comparing by using many methods like questionnaire, interview and statistic to make a further survey on aspects of part-time faculty management status quo: questionnaire survey on employing management, compensation, motivation and performance evaluation and the expectation and evaluation of the student to the teacher; interview survey on the bepuzzlement and measure of administrators; statistic survey on performance evaluation, liquidity and compensation of the part-time faculty. Finally, base on the above analysis, from the developing and management of human resource's point of view, the writer brought forward a new concept on the management of part-time faculty in the private college, and gave corresponding countermeasure and advice on the employing management, motivation and performance evaluation.In this thesis the writer thinks that the ways on enhancing the part-time faculty must be from three points: the employing management must be systematism and standardization; the motivation must be individuation and humanism; performance evaluation must be full-scale and open.
