Curriculum evaluation is the core of this new round of curriculum reform.It is crucial to the curriculum reform and ensures the correct orientation of the latter.The striking point of curriculum evaluation is to embody its new functions.It focuses on"the Two Accelerations"One is to accelerate the all-round development of students;the other is to accelerate the improvement of teachers.Students'evaluation is the kernel of curriculum evaluation.Therfore the new targets of evaluation reform fall on the building of students'evaluation system in accordance to the new curriculum theory and the students'all-round development.Research and practice on the developmental assessment of students'integrated quality in Huhhot Experimental School are a series of experiments aiming at this target.We construct a new evaluation platform based on multiple intelligence and education assessment research findings.In responding to the new junior curriculum standards and the cognitive regularity of junior students,this system combines organically knowledge and ability, process and method,emotion attitude achievements ,potentials and shortcomings will be reported to the parents,classmates and the teachers in the report of the developmental assessment of students'integrated quality in Huhhot Experimental School.Thus the students will become aware of the key points of their future improvement and will get help as to the plan making of the needed improvement.In that way the students make further progress from the original level.Taking the students'development as its tropism, the author makes this research in theoretical, practical and experimental methods .She tries to builda platform of developmental evaluation combing the theory and many evaluational methods.She also tries to put students'evaluationai theory into the prctice of junior high school and promotes the students'assessment .The result of this research indicates that Research and practice on the developmental assessment of students'integrated quality in Huhhot Experimental School are feasible and effective in reforming the new curriculunm reform and accelerate the sthdents'all-round development.There are three parts in this dissertation. The first part introduces the research and practice in general, including its generality, origin and basis. The second part expatiates the operational system of the developmental assessment of students'integrated quality in Huhhot Experimental School, mainly covering its theoretical content,principles,targets and guided thinking as well as its practical time ,procedure,content, form,main body and circulate mechanism. The third part involves the conclusion of the developmental assessment of students'integrated quality in Huhhot Experimental School .
