The twenty-first century focuses on students'overall development and the traditional intelligence theory mainly limits intelligence to language and symbolic logic,in which other intelligences of the same importance in the survival and development of human beings and individuals are neglected. Therefore,this theory cannot meet the requirements of modern education development any more."Multiple Intelligence Theory", proposed by American psychologist Gardner, has aroused wide concern, which has become an important guiding thought in the education reform. Multiple intelligence theory itself puts emphasis on methods of treating intelligences in multiple ways. Therefore, quality-oriented education should be based on multiple intelligence theory, which advocates overall development. Also, this theory should be connected with students'evaluation, on account of which multiple students'evaluation system is designed and proposed, in the hope of promoting students'overall development by students'self-awareness and self improvement through this evaluation system.This paper discusses problems concerning students'evaluation on the basis of multiple intelligence theory and can be divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, which deals with problems arising from students'evaluation, research status at home and abroad and the objective and significance of this paper. The second part briefly introduces the traditional intelligence theory and its limitations. The third part discusses the main content of multiple intelligence theory, including background and scientific evidence, basic connotation and characteristics. The fourth part deals with methods of students evaluation based on multiple intelligence theory in more detail. The fifth part is the main focus and also the innovative part of this paper. In view of the weakness of traditional one, the multiple students'evaluation system is discussed initially. It dwells on the construction and basic connotation of the system, including the evaluation items of the past—evaluation content, approaches, main body and functions. Besides, the evaluation system is endowed with richer connotations: the content is broadened, the approach enriched, the main body increased and functions expanded, which makes the evaluation system characteristic of being integrated in content and diverse in approaches. At the end of the paper, personal opinions and suggestions are put forward concerning problems facing this system in oder to achieve a better development.With the guidance of multiple intelligence theory, students'evaluation highlights the encirclement of traditional intelligence theory, which coruscates new vitalities. The basic thought held by multiple intelligence theory that everyone is worthy to be taught provides sufficient development space for an ideal life of each individual, and at the same time, provides more helpful thinking space for education and the cause of students'evaluation system.
