| Hu Shuhua, one of the most important figures in the modern educational history of china, is an pioneer who has the most achievement in the modern school educational field of China. He himself not only has lots of contribution in school educational thoughts but also pays attention to practise, accumulate many experiences and contribute much for the develepment of the career of the modern school educational field of China. Since 1980s, in the academic circles some researchers have studied him, but only a little have been gained. To these achievements, they have mainly focused historical events and issues related with Hu, while researches on Hu's educational thoughts and its practices seem rather thin. The author suggests that much attention to Hu's educational thoughts and his practices should be paid, and it is necessary to be made further researching. Grasping Hu's educational thoughts exactly is not only helpful for us to understand his whole life thoroughly, but also meaningful as reference for "rely on education to rejuvenate the nation" advocated now. Considering these, basing on plenty of historical materials and research achievements, I try to make further explorations for Hu's educational thoughts and his practices, hoping that it would make bits of contributions to the researches on Hu Shuhua, as well as for the history of modern education in China.The thesis is divided into five parts to expound Hu's educational thoughts and his practices.The first part consists of three aspects including the reasons of writing, present studying conditions and the meanings of studying.The second part deals with all his life and the origins of Hu's educational thoughts from the process of his studies, running industry for saving the nation, the practices of education and the devotion after liberation, which contains dual influence of Chinese and western culture. |
