The Exploration On The Teachers' Stress Of Wei And Han From The Secondary Schools In Xinjiang

As education reform goes further ,more and more teachers are under stress .The writer makes a preliminary study of 431 both Wei and Han teachers from seventeen junior schools in Kashigar , Arksu ,Arlitai ,Yili and Urumqi ,by using questionairs ,observation and talking ,aiming to find the causes and effects of teacher occupational stress .The conclusions are as follows:1, For all, 80.28% investigated teachers said that their occupational stress was intensitive , among them, 36.66% teachers said their occupational stress was too intensitive .For Wei teachers ,79.90% teachers said that their occupational stress was intensitive ,among them 35.29% teachers too intensitive ; For Han teachers, 80.62% teachers ,intensitive ,among them, 37.89% ,too intensitive . On the other hand ,there's no clear difference between Wei and Han on the degree of stress .2,The main stressors of Wei and Han teachers of Junior schools in XinJiang are successively students, examination ,work load ,the management of school ,self–development needs and teaching reform ;the first threes are the main factors to cause teacher occupational stress .3,For all ,there's clear difference on the degree of stress and self–development between man and woman teachers , and there's extremly clear difference on students ,examination and work load ;there's clear difference on students between class-teachers and teachers ,there's extremly clear difference on the degree of stress ,examination and the management of school ;there's clear difference on the degree of stress between graduate class and other classes ,but there's extremly clear difference on the management of school and self-development needs; there's extremly clear difference on students, examination and work load .Compare Wei with Han ,there's more clear difference or extremly clear difference on self–development needs .4,54.8% teachers said that Occupational stress had harmful effects on their behavior .77.5% teachers said that occupational stress had harmful effects on their mental health ,and certain ratio teachers said they had some disease which teachers were suffered commonly.5,Every day , teachers have to work for 10.8 hours ,it can explain why 67% teachers think 24 hours is not enough for them in a way.6,As for teachers'work , it is mainly devided into teaching work(preparation, having classes, checking and things about exams) and non-teaching work(managing the class, accepting the school's management and teacher's own time).7,The stress between Wei and Han has something the same, but the stress on self-development causing by reforming for Wei is more clear.
