With the development of society and intensifying of competition, the professional pressure which Chinese elementary and middle school teachers withstand grows day by day. If the teacher's professional pressure cannot be under the active control for a long time, it can cause Teacher Burnout. Since the 1980s Burnout study started to extend to the educational area, Burnout has already become the prominent problem in the worldwide educational area. It has become a serious threat of the teachers' physical and moral integrity, the teaching quality as well as the teacher troop's stability. And Teacher Burnout has had the direct negative influence to the teachers' teaching and the students' development. The teacher who has Burnout will easily lose the patience and the compassion to the students, reduce the curriculum full preparation the sense of achievement. The teacher who has Teacher Burnout cannot devote himself to his teaching job , so Teacher Burnout affects the education effect.This research is based on the survey conducted among 117 English teacher of junior middle schools in Shenzhen. We get to know and compare the level of Teacher Burnout of different junior middle school English teachers (the difference lies in sex, professional titles, teaching age, grades, schools and whether he is a head teacher) . Furthermore, we analyze the causes and give effective methods to ease the Teacher Burnout of junior middle school English teachers.The first part mainly for the problem proposal. It has expounded two reasons: first, with society's development, the teacher pressure increases, thus causes the teacher burnout; second ,the junior middle school English teachers are a special group.The second part mainly induced and summarized the related domestic and foreign research on Teacher Burnout. Thus it has highlighted the area which this research attempts to break through.
