There is a big rural-urban difference in education in our country, compared with education standardization and high quality in the city, the rural education is at a disadvantage in the teachership, the funds investment, the school furniture as well as environment inside and outside the school and so on. In the new time, it is essential work for our party and the nation to construct socialism new countryside, and the rural education not only is its content, also is the key in the rural reconstruction. In the rural educational questions, the teacher question is the most urgent and basic. In this article, I interviewed a Chinese teacher who works in countryside and paid attention to his individual growth and the teaching career by narrative inquiry, demonstrated the rural teacher's experience, in order to arouse the consideration of rural teachers in the new time, and to seek the way to strengthen the rural teachership construction.This paper is composed by four parts:First part: mainly regarded the significance and the method of this study, the research process as well, and summarized the research situation and the existing questions about teacher professional development at present, by making the research on a rural teacher, understood his survival and development environment and the condition.Second part: explained the basic concepts in the article, defined the countryside as the county and the area that is below the county, divided sex into the physiological sex and the social sex (gender), regarded teacher professionalization as a professional development process by which an average person becomes an educator.Third part: made narrative research on Mr. Hu's individual growth and his professional development, entered his teaching and the innermost feelings world. Through narrative research, we understood Mr. Hu's teaching process of the professional development, discovered that without the changing in exam system, "the new curriculum reform " survives in name only; the contradiction between the new teaching material and the old method has not yet solved, the teachers and students still have been struggling in the traditional educational model; the exploration from individual teacher has little effect, which has provided high academic record for the students at most, urged them at the certain time to leave the countryside; it has also...
