According to social behavioral theory and educational investment, the author explored the features of the rural family education investment. The objects came from the families in the north rural villages in Shangyi County in Hebei Province. The data collected by questionnaire and interviews. The author objectively describes the characters about rural family education investment. The researcher investigated and analyzed the differences, influence factors and future tendency of rural family education investment from the four aspects, such as the numbers of the children, their sex, their mother's education degree and income of every rural family.The result of the study shows that the income and their mother's education degree can not directly influence their education investment, while the number and sex of their children plays a key role in it. The mother's education degree is closed connected with the cares for their children and manners or ways that they choose.According to the analysis, the behavior of rural family education investment has following tendency:First, the level of understanding for the education of rural families is rising, the peasants can realize the importance of education clearly, hence, they can actively invest in the education for their children;Second, the goal of investment is clearer and more definite, the educational investment not only supplies conditions for their children to realize floating population, but also lay a necessary foundation for their future employment;Third, it may be ironed out that the education investment, expectations, choices, sex and age distinction of the rural family regarded as seriousness.Fourth, the rural families can realize the importance of profession and technical education, thus professional and technical education, especially in agriculture, will be strengthened;Fifth, the eugenics and its institution can improve the ideas of the rural family education and increase the parents' education of the new generation and push the compulsory education to spread all over the country and control the illiterate persons.The study is not only the extension problem of "sannong" (rural area;peasants;and agriculture) but also fills in the gaps in the fields of the investment of the rural family education. The new view of the study is that we analyze and study the overall behavior of the educations from every aspect including the expenditure. The author discusses the general law and main restrain factor production of the person power capital in countryside via the microcosm fact. Hence, the study can help the local government solve the rural education problems, promote the rural families to reform their investment, make them improve the education condition, develop further human resources and enhance the quality of the rural population. Thus it can also provide the strategic basis to make the rural areas develop continuously in production.
