Community Education In The Transitional Community

Community education is the various types of educational forms which are organized by effectively using educational resource according to the community development and the need of citizens in this community. Its fundamental purpose is to improve the citizen's quality with the variety of educational patterns and tools. Rising from 1980s, our national community education in modern sense started with the community education of improving the quality of youth, and gradually expanded to the community education of improving all members' quality and the community development. This educational form promotes the combination of education and community with significant effects, displaying important and profound significance.Furong community is a case selected by the author, which is located in Hefei Economic-Technological Development Area. It transforms from rural community to urban community in the process of urbanization, which is called "transitional community" by the author. Combined the theory and practice of community education, this paper analyses the educational organization, educational content, educational form and the condition of using educational resource, and summarizes some problems in Furong community.
