The phonological awareness is consciousness and application of hitting the sound structure to the spoken language that the children have developed since the childhood. The western psychological educational circles extremely pay attention to the research of phonological awareness, has found the rule of development of children' s phonological awareness of the western alphabetic writing, thinks that phonological awareness can predict development of reading , but every composition of prediction function is different. Study on Chinese phonological awareness of Chinese children obtain children phonological awareness rule of development too, has found that factors such as materials , the language (including the dialect) , etc. are influencing the phonological awareness level of Chinese. Dispute existing in whether phonological awareness can predict the development of reading.In Chinese children's phonological awareness research, correlation research still did not launch with system, taking Chinese children as the research object in front of the land area. This research attempts to fill in this blank, designing two experiments:Study One purposes in children phonological awareness rule of development, and finding two major dialect, including Shanghai native language (Shanghai language) and Cantonese how to impact on children's Chinese phonological awareness. Study Two is mainly to find phonological awareness of children can predict the evelopment of reading or not.
