WuShu is an important component of the traditional culture. It entered its splendid stage in Ming and Qing dynasty, which is the basis of the contemporary WuShu. It is not an accidental phenomenon that a lot of boxing and instruments with regional features developed one by one in a special area------ShanXi Province, but a necessary result of the development of history.Therefore, this paper will analyse the effects imposed by the social factors of Ming and Qing Dynasty on the regional WuShu. The purpose of the paper is to provide a case study to enrich the research of the whole development of the Chinese traditional WuShu, and then offer a helpful thought to the development of the contemporary ShanXi WuShu and even the Chinese WuShu.The paper applies the view of the National and TraditionalPhysical .........and is based on the descriptions of the phenomenon of thething-in-itself and the analysis of the form of the thing-in-itself. It draws lessons from the theories, the methods and the related research results of many other sciences, for example, folklore, history, and sociology, to explore the reasons of the emergence and the development of ShanXi WuShu and to find the relationship between the social development and the development of WuShu in ShanXi Province through the deeply, detailed and specific reseach.The research methods of the paper is cultural method, systematic method and structure analytical method on the ground of which it makes an entire and careful analysis of the social factors in Ming and Qing Dynasty which affected the development of ShanXi WuShu of that period. This paper argues that the major and important social factors are the human culture and geography, the deeply social base of Wushu, the developed commerce and the anti-Qing social factors.Firstly, human is the most essential factor of the development of everything, so WuShu can't develop without the human.
