In 1999, four universities were authorized to found distance education experimental unit.From that, the distance education in our country develops very quickly. The development ofsoftware and hardware produce prominent achievement, the scale of distance education getlarge, and the quantity of learner increases very fast. But it must be taken very long time foranything from appearance to maturation, because all the relative factors need a graduallyconversion. In distance education, the conversion of teachers' role from traditional educationto distance education is the key. Education must have relation to teacher, even though thetechnology act more important role in education, and more and more people advocate studyfreedom. Because the use of any technology rest with it' user, modernization of the educationcan not optimize the education effect. However, it doesn't mean the traditional teachers are fitfor modern education. There are large numbers of research on the distance education, but theyare not in-depth. In fact, the level of our teacher in distance is not good. The thesis analyzesthe actuality of teacher in distance education from four aspects: distance education, teachers,students, factors of society. I put forward several strategies of improving efficiency ofteaching in distance and the mode of bringing up teachers in distance education. |
