The new curriculum reform of our country formally started in 2001. 《The sketch of the elementary education curriculum reform (trial practice)》 clearly and definitely points out that the teaching process is an interactive process between teachers and students .The geography interactive teaching is a kind of new teaching pattern based on the idea of implementing the new curriculum, carrying out quality education, main body education and increasing the teaching efficiency. The fundamental aim of interactive teaching is to adjust the current teaching pattern which emphasizes "teacher as the center", "incalculable", and "heuristic", into the teaching process of "teacher as dominant, students as the main body , the development as the thread". Hence, this passage is attempting to draw the interactive teaching into the middle school geography teaching reforms in the practice, probe and request the source about the relevant theories, and combine the teaching practice to carry out relatively systematic research. The writer tries to find an efficient way to change the traditional teaching pattern, increase the teaching efficiency and change the present situation of middle school geography teaching.
