Investigation And Countermeasures On Beach Volleyball In Shandong Province

The study aims: entertainment-oriented beach volleyball campaign, which originated inthe twentieth of the 20th century, developed into formal beach volleyball competitions in1947, and prospers even more rapidly especially in 1996 when it entered the Olympicscompeted for gold medals. Beach volleyball became a formal event since 1994 in our countryand in 1997 the national sport event, since then beach volleyball is carried out gradually inour country from scratch. Shandong Province has large population with strong sports,Shandong Province has large population with strong sports,and its coastline stretches for morethan 3,000 kilometres, which are benefical to beach volleball.With the coming of 2008Olympic Games and National Sports Meeting to be held in Shandong Province in 2009, beachvolleyball campaign in Shandong Province meets a good opportunity. However, theoreticalstudy on beach volleyball in Shandong Province is not much and the general study inthe development of the beach volleyball in Shandong Province is not accessible in theliterature. Therefore, the author investigates the status quo of beach volleyball in ShandongProvince, theoretically takes an analytic approach to the beach vollyball in ShandongProvince and propose the countermeasures against the problems in accordance with thepractical stations in Shandong Province, in hopes of making theoretical contributions to thedevelopment of beach volleyball in Shandong Province.The paper drew the following conclusions by the research methods of material collection,interviews, survey, statistics and logic analysis for materials:1. Athletic beach volleyball Campaign was carried out earlier in Shandong Province, andestablished a professional beach volleyball club;But backups are sufficient ,a complete beachvolleyball reserve personnel training mechanism has not been formed.2. In Shandong province there are professional Beach Volleyball coaches for juvenilesonly in Jinan Qingdao and Yantai ,Moreover,the coaches need to improve their knowledge andability.3. Shandong Province gains an obvious geographical advantage in the promotion ofcampaign of beach volleyball, beach volleyball Campaign is better being carried out inQingdao ,but in most cities it is still on early developmental stage.4.The beach volleyball campaign the propaganda is not sufficient in Shandong Province,there is still much to do on it.5.Shandong Province volleyball management center attaches great importance to thedevelopment of beach volleyball campaign, and organized various levels of beach volleyballcompetitions, beach volleyball can not be comprehensively promoted due to lacking ofindependent beach volleyball management department, and we should make much moreefforts to carry out the event of beach volleyball.According to the problems revealed from suivey results, this paper made the followingrecommendations:1. Personnel training mechanism in Shandong Province should be consummated further.2. Coach's election and come into power mechanism needs to be intensified. Beachvolleyball coaches should learn more theoretical knowledge.3. Management departments should make clear beach volleyball's future direction,promote the development of beach volleyball in Shandong province.4. Shandong Province should pay much attention to the importance of beach volleyball'spropaganda work by enforcing the corporation with the media of television, newspapers andInternet media, broadcast beach volleyball's latest situation through multi-angles and allpossible directions.5. Holding variet of Beach Volleyball matches to widen the market in ShongdongProvince.6. Exploiting Shandong Province's school Beach Volleyball market, the new talenttraining system of "primary and middle schools -universities -career club" is an importantway to cultivate high-level beach volleyball athletes coincident with China's situation.
