| Since the invention of beach volleyball in the1920s, its uniqueness, fun,entertainment and competitive nature have been quickly accepted by the people of theworld and have become one of the most popular sports in the21stcentury. The IOCrecognizes its value and receives the beach volleyball in1996as a member of the bigfamily. Since then beach volleyball is for the world to know and love. Beachvolleyball comes into China relatively late, but after decades of development, Chinahas made great progress beach volleyball competition in the world. After womenvolleyball team’s five consecutive champions, beach volleyball becomes warmlywelcomed by the people. In order to develop beach volleyball, the State Sport GeneralAdministration sets up a special management team and include beach volleyball intothe National Games in1997when beach volleyball so rapidly prevails in the wholenation. So far, there have been20provinces such as Sports Authority and PLO settingup professional beach volleyball teams and the construction and development ofbeach volleyball team as a key project. Shandong Province is one of the provinceswhich have high level of economy and competitive sports. Shandong Province alsohad brilliant moment in beach volleyball, however, in recent years, ShandongProvince, beach volleyball results which have been hovering around4-8name levelare not satisfactory. By horizontal comparison with Jiangsu, Shanghai and otherprovinces and longitudinal comparison with the previous level of achievement, thereis a certain gap.In this paper, literature, questionnaire and mathematical statistics researchmethods have been adopted to study Shandong Province Beach Volleyball situationand the development of men’s beach volleyball status and find out the disadvantagesin current men’s beach volleyball youth development in our province. Throughresearch and analysis, it puts forward development proposals for the province’sdevelopment of men’s beach volleyball and provides good theoretical support andexcellent back-up personnel strength for men’s beach volleyball, and thus promotesbeach volleyball’s development in our province and the stability and development of the beach volleyball tournament in the country and the world. Through research andanalysis, the following conclusions have been reached:First, the age structure of Shandong Province’s male juvenile beach volleyballplayer is reasonable. The obvious height advantages favor beach volleyball skillstraining. However, the quetelet index has a certain gap comparing with outstandingyoung beach volleyball players which results in weak strength.. In addition, they arebasically practiced by the turn from indoor volleyball, and beach volleyball trainingtime is short and they grasp technical and tactical unskilled.Second, Shandong Province male beach volleyball player has a good trainingmotivation and passion for beach volleyball. They study well and have a higherintelligence, which are very conducive to the mastery of beach volleyball’s technicaland tactical.Third, of small ages and with low grade, the male beach volleyball coaches inShandong Province have low life coaching and experience; they are less educated andtrained and the scientific research level is insufficient. Also, their beach volleyballprofessional sports experience is less professional and the guidance capacity isinsufficient. Coaches are well intentioned, with their hobby for beach volleyball andtraining beach volleyball athletes as main purpose. Coaches’ attitudes and trainingprogram development are generally good which are beneficial to man youth beachvolleyball and beach volleyball athletes training development.Fourth, Shandong Province Beach Volleyball Men’s Junior development isregionally unbalanced, not only in athletic performance but also in the leadership ofthe degree of attention, construction site equipment, funding and other aspects. Atpresent, Shandong Province Male beach volleyball have both indoor and beachtraining which is the indoor–based and whose output in good condition. Almost allprofessional teams enter into a higher one or universities to train or study.Fifth, twice a year, Shandong Province male adolescents do not have many beachvolleyball competitions. Having undergone professional beach volleyball rules andcompetitions methodology trainings, referees judge a relatively high level which canensure the smooth progress of the beach volleyball tournaments. Sixth, The uneven regional development of volleyball, short training time ofbeach volleyball players, low skills, relatively few professional coaches, low guidance,insufficient site equipment and funding constraints are factors that constrain thedevelopment of beach volleyball in Shandong Province.Seventh, The high attention from the government departments, the balanceddevelopment, enough training time, skilled proficiency in beach volleyball tactics, theintroduction of professional beach volleyball coaches, improvement in the level ofcoaching and diversified organization of different beach volleyball games, andextension of the influence beach volleyball can be a good way to promote the beachvolleyball in Shandong Province... |
