The 21st century shows vivid characteristics of times: First, 21stcentury is an era of information economy when people enter into aneconomic era based on the acquisition and distribution of intelligenceresources, and the production, assignment and employment of information.21st century will become a new century that highlights the theory andpractice of "based on people, centering on people". The importance, scopeand power of the development of human resources will all outstrip those ofany previous era. Education, a part of society, obviously will be influenced.Multimedia technology is introduced to the education field, which leads tothe changes of the perspective and method of education. The main problemsin traditional education are to emphasize imparting of knowledge, butundervalue the development of abilities;to make a point of memory, butundervalue the application. This conduct makes the talents from oureducation lack creative awareness and spirit. Thus, the integration ofmultimedia and subjects is necessary. According to the environment of usingmultimedia in physics teaching, I will discuss and study the topic in thefollowing three parts.In the first part, I start with the present situation of education invocational school and the study status of vocational school students and drawa conclusion that multimedia in physics teaching is very important andnecessary. Then I analyze the necessity and importance for students ofvarious grades and various students of the same grade to apply teachingmultimedia synthetically.In the second part, I go on discussing the multimedia physics teaching invocational school;try to find out the theoretical basis in vocational schoolphysics teaching. Then I sum up the principle and method of designingcourseware and expound the training of students' personal characters,creativity and observation.In the third part, I introduce how to choose the courseware. Through theanalysis of the typical cases, I summarize and make a prospect of theexperience after the teaching practice.The thesis aims to apply the multimedia technology to the vocationalschool physics teaching and explore the basic method of multimedia physicsteaching. It will give a lot of help to the teachers' applying multimedia tophysics teaching. Thus constantly improve the teaching effect under the newtechnology conditions.
