The linchpin of Chinese reading teaching is reading, while aestheticreading is a method widely used in the reading teaching in China.Influenced by the test-oriented education system, the Chinese teaching ofmiddle schools generally emphasizes the analysis and explanation of thetext, ignores reading and training of language abilities, and overlooks thecreative thinking of students. All above weakens the students' abilities offeeling and realization and leads the Chinese teaching going wrong."The Standard of Chinese Course" requests that the students should'have the ability of reading independently, emphasize cultivation offeelings, enrich their repertories, establish a good sense of language, andadvocate aesthetic reading. According to the standard and the reality ofcurrent Chinese teaching, this thesis intends to stress aesthetic reading,accentuate the sense of language and combine the above two tightly toconvey the aesthetic value of the text, train the students' sense oflanguage and enhance the abilities of Chinese reading of the students.Aesthetic reading was first advocated by Ye Shentao. The meaningof aesthetic reading is that the reader expresses the writer's feelings whilereading the writing aloud, by which one is edified and satisfied physicallyand mentally. The sense of language which makes the core of Chinesequality is the speaker's intuitional comprehension of the writing. A Lackof a good sense of language can hinder the improvement of the students'Chinese quality. It is far-reachingly and realistically influential forimplementing quality education to intensify the training of the students'sense of language.This thesis first explain the concept of aesthetic reading and thesense of language, on the basis of which it further elucidates the meaningof aesthetic reading: aesthetic reading is a high level method of reading,by which the reader can enjoy aesthetic joviality and physical and mentaledification. Aesthetic reading is also creative activity, a process ofresearch. It intently explores the relationship between aesthetic readingand cultivation of the sense of language. Then this thesis intend to studythe relationship between aesthetic reading and the sense of language。It isconstructive to train the aesthetic reading of the students for promotingthe extent, depth, aesthetic, sensitivity of the sense of language. It is therepeat aesthetic reading by the students themselves that can help themunderstand the text, upgrade their level of appreciation and creativity.The thesis strictly complies with the sense of language, associatestheories and practices, research the strategy of putting aesthetic reading inpractices and provide a series of method, trying to inspire the students'aesthetic sentiment through reading practices. Finally, the thesis drawsattention to some problems on aesthetic reading, emphasizes theimprovement of the teachers' quality and the students' aestheticcomprehension, the importance of which can not be ignored.Based on the theories of receiving aesthetics and the sense oflanguage, the thesis regards aesthetic reading as a key element andsuggests that it should be on the level of consummating the students'aesthetic structures to cultivate the sense of language. It is significantlymeaningful for Chinese teaching of middle schools not to go astraythrough the practices of aesthetic reading to train the sense of language.
