With the continuous developments of the theories of quality education, self-evaluation, as a main form of the students' consciousness of their evaluation, has become an important factor influencing the effects of subjective education. This paper employs the current Questionnaire on the Self-Evaluation of the Junior Middle School Students to survey the junior students in our school, adopts SPSS to do the subsection reliability and Alpha (internal integrity) coefficient analyses in three aspects of morality quality, knowledge competence quality and psychological quality to analyze elementarily the characteristics, problems and factors on the self-evaluation of the junior students, analyzes the main factors influencing the junior students based on the students' diaries, compositions, and open questions and answers on their examination papers, and performs the case-study on the typical examples and reasons where and why the students evaluate themselves on the low or high side. Based on the analyses mentioned above, the paper concludes the factors (including physical factors, family factors, school factors, and social factors) influencing the self-evaluation of the junior students. Finally, the paper maintains that we should establish correct concepts of evaluation, enhance the qualities of the teachers per se, employ positive and multiplex evaluation means, according to the current problems on the self-evaluation of the junior students, and examine the ubiquitous impediment problems on the self-evaluation of the junior students and put forward various strategies accordingly.
