| Jiang Menglin, a well-known educationalist in modern China, was an active member in the new education reform in the 1920s. During his educational research and practice for long periods, Jiang took advantage of the essence of both Chinese and western study. On this basis, he took further steps to put forward his own educational thoughts, which cover higher education, personality education, professional education, mass education and history education. Untill now many of his ideas are still of great significance in both theory and reality.The thesis dwells on the educational thoughts of Jiang Menglin, and it includes three parts. Part one gives a brief introduction of the life and educational activities of Jiang Menglin. Part two is the body, in which Jiang's educational thoughts are systematically illustrated. Part three presents the author's comment on Jiang Menglin's educational thoughts.
