Sound personality, is the foundation and main factors in elevating personal character as well as the groundwork of the race development and progress. As the key period of personality development is in the high school, Chinese language teaching has special condition and significance to the personality education.The tragedy is an esthetics category which presents the denial of the value of worthy life in vehement social conflict. The tragedy characteristic (the tragedy object is a worthy life, it can be expressed in the social conflict of the vehemence, its final outcome is to approve the worthy life in being negated) and essence, the impact of tragedy works on appreciating beauty such as the motion catharsis , purifying the mind, shaping the thoughts and feelings and encouraging the life can help the high school students to set up the lofty values and cultivate the soul to endure the conflict and frustration. It can also shape other aspects of healthy personality. In a word, the tragedy works can make the high school students' personality get coordinate and healthy development, which is in accordance with the ages and the society, and keep their development of knowledge, motion, willpower and behavior in a harmonious, unified, overall and synchronous way.Taking molding the sound personality of high school students as of the purpose of the teaching tragedy works contains many differences from the teaching of works of other esthetics categories. In order to exert potential influence of tragedy works on development of molds the sound personality, so that tragedy the teaching of the work can be carried out availably and in a specifically, the writer in this text quest two important and basic principles in tragedy works teaching and correspond the methods in practice. The text also involves three the outlines and four processes in tragedy work teaching as well as four kinds of modes of teaching in specific situation, five kinds of common types of lessons and "4 combine" which should be stick to so as to widen the outlet of tragedy works teaching.
