This thesis describes and criticizes the non-life-emphasized phenomenon and the problems following it that appear in the traditional teaching materials( including textbooks and assistant materials)in middle schools and primary schools. And it probes the reasons of those types of phenomena. And then ,from two levels ,it describes "life -emphasized teaching material": theoretical level and practical level ,based on the explanation of the theoretical basis and the possibility of putting forward this theoretical assumption.This thesis id divided into five chapters as the following:In the first part, it brings up the question. Regarding the theories that have been put forwarded in the realm of teaching materials, we should emphasize on the vital role of teaching materials .The non-life-emphasized phenomena are analysized from the views of teaching materials ,the teacher and the view of students , meanwhile , problems as the result of this kind of phenomena is criticized.The second part analysis the main reasons of the formation of the non-life-emphasized teaching materials .And it reasons from three aspects: cultural background, social background and direct reasons.The third part explains the theoretical resources and the actual basis. This paper introduces both the domestic and the international standpoints on the non-life-emphasized education, and analysizes the possibility of realizing the "life-emphasized teaching material".The forth part conceives the ideal "life -emphasized teaching material "on the theoretical level. Firstly , it defines the meaning of the "life-emphasized teaching material" and the "teaching material towards life". Secondly, it analysizes the innate characteristics and the basic requests.The fifth part conceives the "life-emphasized teaching material" from a practical view. According to the practice of editing moral textbooks and references, it conceives and ideal coming of teaching material, investigates ways to realize the "life-emphasized teaching material" through the choice of content and the strategy ofediting.
